Two suspects in a triple-car incident in Mississauga overnight are in arrest, according to police, after they and others reportedly carjacked another vehicle to leave after their initial car was involved in the crash.
At 12:17 a.m. Tuesday, Peel Regional Police were dispatched to a three-car incident on Mavis Road and Dundas Street West in Mississauga.
Four male occupants of one of the automobiles involved abandoned their vehicle and carjacked another adjacent vehicle.
Another driver in the collision was brought to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
At Ponytrail Drive and Central Parkway, police apprehended the carjackers and were able to apprehend two of them and recover the stolen vehicle.
Two other males continue to stand out.
A police canine squad was dispatched to the location to aid with the search.
